To get your items printed, we need you to supply us with print ready high-resolution artwork, usually with crops and bleed. If that sounds like gobbledygook, then don’t worry as a full graphic design service is available from the Sussex Print stable. 

Sussex Print’s Design Studio has a team of experienced, professional designers who offer high quality design, from scratch, at very competitive prices. For as little as £25 per project, professionally designed artwork not only produces a far superior finished product but affords printers the best opportunity to deliver the product you really want.  

The team will hand-hold you through the conceptual stage, through product development, to finalisation. Every step of the way, the team will incorporate anything you wish to be included and propose suggestions to improve ideas being discussed.

If you already have your artwork designed but simply need a professional print designer to tidy up the artwork and make it print-ready, get it touch and one of our team will give you a very competitive quote.  Having a professional designer check that the artwork is perfectly prepared for printing, make any necessary amends and ensure colour, images, content and text are suitably set-up prevents the risk of a finished product that isn't as you'd hoped and makes a great difference to the overall result.

We sometimes get asked to print artwork created by enthusiastic beginners, but this can often be more costly in the long run particularly if the files are not in the correct format or the images are not of high enough resolution. So we would always urge that you don’t scrimp on getting artwork produced professionally as it may cost you more in the long run and the quality of the print may be affected.

Print

This is, perhaps, our core service and we print anything!

There are so many products we couldn’t possibly list them all here. There are almost unlimited options on paper weights and finishes, hundreds of templates and styles to choose from.

Litho

The most commonly used commercial print process for printing on paper. The set up costs are higher than digital but unit costs are very low which makes it ideal for medium and large print runs.

Digital

The reproduction of digital images on paper. Unlike traditional printing methods the ink or toner does not absorb into the paper but forms a layer on the surface. It generally requires less waste in terms of the chemicals used and paper wasted in the set-up process. As a result, the set-up costs are cheaper than litho but the unit costs are more expensive making it a better process for shorter print runs.  Digital printing easily allows for every impression made onto the paper to be different which makes it perfect for personalisation/mailings etc.

Large format

Need something BIGGER?! Large format printers allow us to create posters and banners that can be used indoor and outdoors. It is a similar process to digital printing and can be great when you need to create impact. 

Flyers, business cards, posters, stickers, brochures and programmes, banners, leaflets, booklets, magazines, calendars, greetings and Christmas cards, menus, invitations, wedding stationery, catalogues, flyers, letterheads, compliments slips…..and more. 

Environmental impact - recycled paper is available on almost all products and can deliver significant environmental advantages compares to non-recycled stock. Energy savings of up to 70% and 15,000 fewer litres of water are needed to produce one tonne of pulp. Reusing waste paper instead of virgin wood fibre helps reduce pressure on natural forests and also helps reduce methane emissions from landfill sites.
